Massage prices: $80 and hour. Detox foot bath $30, with foot massage add $45. I will go to a persons house only under very special circumstances for handicapped and elderly people that can’t get around easily. I charge $30 travel time and if after the first massage the client will need to get a table if they want me to come on a regular basis.
These are types of massage and body work Claudia uses the most.
Berry work: Berry work is mostly for correcting displaced muscles, ligaments, organ placement, and breaking adhesion’s. It also involves a variety of techniques derived from other cultures, such as lymph drainage, moving interstitial waters to drain lungs and sinuses and more.
Neuromuscular re-education: This technique turns off compulsive nerve stimulation creating hypertonicities. It is done with manipulations and movements.
Specific exercises are also prescribed.
Bio-Kinetics (BK): In this work, after bringing attention to the affected area with touch, the brain (thalamus) is actually stimulated to activate a resetting of neural messages. This is excellent for phantom pain and neuro-muscular related “memories.”
Soft Tissue Release: This technique is great for relieving acute pain caused by spasms and chronic hypertonicity.
Qi-Gong healing This is an ancient traditional form of healing used in China where one infuses the client with what we might call “life force.” It may in fact be a human form of electricity and magnetism. This can release trauma and increase energy. I have been studying Chinese internal Arts Such as Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and Bagua for over 30 years. I use some exercises from this training for my clients.
Shiatsu and reflex work: This work is for balancing meridians. I use a little acupressure in every session. I have added some Chapman reflex and trigger point to this as well.
Swedish: Traditional Swedish is a useful system to use as an overlay for the above works to ease transition from one work to another and to search our effected areas.
Nutritional Therapy Practitioner: Many clients like to ask me nutritional questions while I work on them so I finally decided to become Certified by the Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA) and Seattle Central Community College.
Sometimes metabolism is key in effecting mechanical body issues such as inflammation, water retention, muscle hypertension or weakness.
NTA’s training is focused improving digestion disorders, with the primary focus returning systems to a healthy state.
Foot Detox: The bottoms of our feet are a good place to safely take toxins out transdermally. this can be done with a foot bath that has a little salt in it and is ionically charged. It’s almost scary how the water turns different shades as the toxins leave your feetsy while you are comfortably soaking them. I offer this spa like service and can give you a foot massage while they are soaking. The whole process from beginning to end takes about 40 minutes. I charge $30 plus another 15 for the foot massage.
